Doesn't look like anything from the outside. Best Mapu Tofu ever. Great tasty noodles and fast service.
It's a great place to go as a group! Quick, simple and delicious! The only small challenge I had as a tourist was that they didn't speak English. :)
For Dong Bei dishes, this is probably as close as you can get. I would be hard pressed to say it's value for money, but for a slight premium paid we get some authenticity. I wish they had more Dong Bei dishes, but it seems that the dishes here are the ones probably what the locals will pay premium for. Does that make sense? The hot spicy chicken stir fry seems to have overdone the frying. The chicken pieces are almost black, dry and hard. The nice dish would be the stir fried mutton, moist, chewy, and has this oomph. The fragrance fills the air, and makes me wanna eat more. The tomato egg is a pleasant surprise. Very memorable. The balance of tomato sweetness and eggy taste. Yum yum. 4 stars.
